I spent a very short day and a half or so at the park, so this guide is far from complete! Bryce Canyon has some amazing panoramic views, so be sure to bring a wide angle lens. The real color in the rocks comes out at sunset and sunrise making the canyon look completely different, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Hiking down into the canyons seems to be productive (photography-wise) even during the non-ideal sunrise/sunset times since the rock walls are so steep and high, letting the sun do interesting things even high in the sky.

Even in the afternoon, you can still get some interesting lighting things happening with the sun and the tall rock faces from the bottom of the canyon floor.

Sunrise Point was a fairly obvious place to check out at sunrise. I had to pack up during sunrise, but did catch some cool things happening with clouds rolling through shortly after.
